WELCOME TO THE KELOWNA DRAGON BOAT CLUB (KDBC) AND THE KDBC PADDLING SOCIETY!
The KDBC formed in 1999 to promote fun and fitness through the sport of Dragon Boating and to make it available to the community at large. The KDBC provides a venue through which beginner to intermediate paddlers can learn and train. A dragon boat team consists of 20 paddlers, a drummer and a steerer. If you do not have enough members to make up a full team, we will help find enthusiastic members to join you!
The KDBC Paddling Society was formed in 2003 to assist in promoting the education and training of the sport of Dragon Boating.
2008 KDBC PADDLING SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP FEE - $35.00
Registered members are eligible for:
- Priority for Dragon Boat usage
- Training
- Discounts on all club events (clinics, workshops, etc)
- Discounts at local businesses
Paddling times can be flexible on availability of coaching staff and equipment.
